My students were excited when the new dry erase markers arrived with the erasers. Their face lit up when they realized that they didn't have to go through many different markers to find one that worked. Some of them had no idea what a dictionary was until they arrived and I was able to teacher them how to use it to look up definitions of unknown words. It also helped them better understand alphabetical order. The enlarged magnetic sheet of notebook paper made it a lot easier for me to teach parts of writing.
