Technology is an important part of our classroom for reading programs, math practice, assessments, and enrichment activities, and having headphones will allow students to be fully engaged without distractions. They can now listen closely to instructions, hear feedback immediately, and work at their own pace, which builds both confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is having their own set of headphones. They feel more responsible and focused, and they take pride in being prepared for learning each day. Our classroom environment will be noticeably calmer and more productive, especially during small-group instruction and independent work time. Students who once struggled to stay focused will be more engaged and motivated to complete tasks.\r\n\r\nMy students will benefit from extra support in reading and language skills and have especially warmed to this technology. Being able to replay directions, listen to stories, and practice skills privately will help them feel successful without fear of making mistakes in front of others. Your support has truly created a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, and my students and I are deeply grateful for the opportunity you've given us.","fullyFundedDate":1768844287011,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-focus-learning-and-succ/10036177/","projectTitle":"Headphones for Focus, Learning, and Success in 5th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Bent","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10301505_orig.png?crop=2355,2355,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768716284106","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10301505"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6914","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":342,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":84,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":52.4,"schoolId":6914,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lemira Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lemira Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/sumter-school-district/lemira-elementary-school/6914"}
