These novels have quickly become a centerpiece in our learning. With physical copies in each student's hands, we've been able to dive deeper into lessons on dystopian literature, theme, character development, and the author's purpose. More importantly, students are engaging in rich discussions about resilience, society, and the power of storytelling—all sparked by this book.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has transformed into an active, shared experience. Instead of passively listening, students are annotating, reading aloud, and collaborating in small groups. We've been able to pause and unpack complex passages together, and every student is contributing their voice to the conversation. The excitement of turning the page at the same pace has created a sense of community around reading, which is something I've long hoped to cultivate.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular, who has often struggled to stay engaged during reading assignments, has been captivated by the story's futuristic world and relatable protagonist. They've been among the first to raise their hand during discussions and even asked if they could borrow the book at home to read ahead. Seeing this kind of enthusiasm is a reminder of the impact that access to the right text can have.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a difference in our classroom. These books are more than just pages—they are tools for building critical thinking, sparking imagination, and fostering a lifelong love for reading. My students and I are deeply grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1746787088685,"projectUrl":"project/lbu-for-everyone/9241940/","projectTitle":"LBU for Everyone","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gentry","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp375476_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y455&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659403007929","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/nancy-gentry"},{"teacherId":1641916,"projectId":8747468,"letterContent":"Students love the gum ball machines!
