As a 6th-grade special education teacher, finding tools that help my students build confidence and work independently in math is one of my highest priorities. Before receiving our VersaTiles, independent practice was often a source of anxiety for my students, making it tough to step away for targeted instruction. Now, these resources have completely transformed our daily routine. While I work with a small group on direct skills, my other students remain fully engaged, focused, and practicing their math skills with real autonomy.\r\n\r\nThe students are absolutely loving the hands-on, puzzle-like design of the tiles! Math can often feel intimidating to them, but VersaTiles turn learning into an exciting game. Because the system is self-checking, students get immediate feedback by revealing a matching visual pattern on the back when they complete a set. They take immense pride in checking their own work, which boosts their self-reliance and removes the fear of making mistakes. Seeing their faces light up when the puzzle patterns line up correctly has been one of the best parts of our school day.\r\n\r\nHaving access to VersaTiles across multiple grade levels has been a total game-changer for our classroom. Learning in special education is never one-size-fits-all, and these varied levels allow me to easily customize practice to meet every student's current learning needs. Whether someone needs to bridge a foundational gap or tackle a higher-level concept, I can give them exactly what they need without drawing unnecessary attention to their differences. Your support has given my students not just valuable learning tools, but the priceless gift of feeling capable, independent, and proud.
