Because of your generosity, our baseball and softball programs now each have two Tanner tees that are in excellent condition and ready for daily use. This season, we had not been able to use any tees at all because our old ones were torn up and no longer usable. Now, our athletes can consistently work on hitting fundamentals by using the tees to drive balls into the net during practice.\r\n\r\nWhen the new tees arrived, the excitement was immediate. Players were eager to set them up and get to work on their swings. For many of them, it felt like a fresh start—an opportunity to truly focus on mechanics, hand placement, and contact point. Having reliable equipment has allowed us to slow the game down, break down swing fundamentals, and build confidence one rep at a time.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue incorporating tee work into our daily hitting progression. In the past, they had to use a broom and dustpan to clean up, which was time-consuming and not always very effective. Now, they are able to quickly and thoroughly clean the locker room, keeping it neat and organized.\r\n\r\nWhen the vacuum arrived, the players were genuinely excited. They were eager to use it and immediately noticed how much easier it was compared to sweeping. What used to take a long time with a broom and dustpan can now be done efficiently, allowing them to take pride in maintaining their space. It has also helped reinforce responsibility and teamwork, as players rotate cleaning duties and work together to keep the locker room in top shape.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue building a culture of accountability and pride in our program. Keeping the locker room clean is part of teaching life skills like responsibility, organization, and respect for shared spaces.
