They are working on personal space standing on their dot along with general space moving around the dots. It is also helping them with directional vocabulary such as near, behind, next to, and in front of.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited and squealed when they saw the dots to help their learning. The poms enhanced their creativity and tapped into other possibilities such as musical theater. \r\n\r\nThe students reaction to the new materials were priceless. They were excited and over joyed to be able to use the new poms. The loved the color and were engaged with the endless possibilities they would provide. They could not wait to to use them!!\r\n\r\nThe next steps in using these materials is to allow students to work within the standards of choreography.
