I took 10 pages of notes. Also, there is a 180 page resource book. For some, that overwhelming. For me, I've got highlighters and post-it notes! \r\nThis workshop and book is filled with so so many ideas that are practical and fun. I can't wait to share them with my students. I will also be rewatching the video while highlighting in the book!\r\nMany skills are taught in the workshop. They focus on literacy with a classroom curriculum connection. Using these will help me extend and review what they are learning in their classroom while meeting my library standards. This will be great for collaboration with classroom teachers. \r\nMy first project will be a hand-on collaborative engineering design and creation project bring squiggles to life. Yes, squiggles. This will being literacy, art, and STEAM together.
