The new materials are helping my students build confidence, stay engaged, and feel proud of their learning every single day.\r\n\r\nHow the technology and resources are helping:\r\nThe laminator and pouches have entirely transformed the way we learn. I can now create colorful, reusable materials that my students use daily in centers, small groups, and independent practice. From math flashcards to reading games and word-building mats, these hands-on tools make learning more interactive and fun. Because the materials are laminated, they last much longer—allowing students to practice key skills over and over without fear of wear and tear.\r\n\r\nThe laptop screen extender has been a game-changer for me as a teacher. It allows me to design lessons, manage digital resources, and create engaging visuals more efficiently. This means my students get to enjoy lessons that are not only well-prepared but also full of creativity and variety! The webcam cover has also helped us maintain a strong sense of safety and privacy during virtual learning—a small but meaningful way to help students feel secure.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most:\r\nMy students absolutely love using the laminated learning games! They get so excited when I pull out our brightly colored flashcards or matching activities. Because they can write on them with dry-erase markers and then wipe them clean, they feel like \"real teachers\" during our small-group work time. It has brought a new level of excitement and ownership to their learning.\r\n\r\nStudents who have especially connected:\r\nOne of my students, who was initially very hesitant to participate in reading activities, has blossomed since we started using the laminated word-building cards. Being able to manipulate the cards and erase mistakes has given her the confidence to take risks and celebrate her progress. Another student who struggles with writing loves our new pencil-shaped erasers—they're simple, but to him, they make writing feel special and fun.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, my students are not only learning essential skills but also developing a sense of pride and joy in their work. Your support is helping to make school a place where they feel capable, creative, and cared for.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart—thank you for believing in my students and helping them start the year strong!","fullyFundedDate":1755702623605,"projectUrl":"project/back-to-school/9504468/","projectTitle":"Back to School!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Boone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5307962_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1523395933552","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-boonesbabes"},{"teacherId":3022140,"projectId":7899419,"letterContent":"The dancers rehearsed and prepared to perform and present, a polished performance that conveys a message of hope and love through dance, to the music of Burt Bacharach, \"What the World Need Now, Is Love Sweet Love\"\r\n\r\nThe dance students performed an inspirational dance entitled \"LOVE\", at a community Jubilee Festival, in the school's Winter Showcase, for veteran's and our military families in the Veteran's Day recognition at our school, Spring Showcase, and an assembly at the high school in our community called \"Hope for the Holiday\"(which celebrates the efforts of our elementary students, and the students in our community's middle and high school to collect canned goods, clothing and other items to be donated to local agencies that serve individuals and families in need). \r\n\r\nThank you for your support, which gave these students the opportunity to contribute a positive message to the community and help build their confidence through preparation and performance.","fullyFundedDate":1697666842964,"projectUrl":"project/dancing-a-message-of-hope-and-love/7899419/","projectTitle":"Dancing a Message of Hope and Love","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. S.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3022140_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1664806923378","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3022140"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6392","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":489,"numTeachers":52,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":51,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":38,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"9.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":48.9,"schoolId":6392,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lw Conder Arts Magnet School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lw Conder Arts Magnet School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/richland-school-district-two/l-w-conder-elementary-school/6392"}
