These hands-on resources have brought a whole new level of excitement and learning to our checkout time.\r\n\r\nNow, while waiting to select their books, students eagerly head to our stations to explore, build, and create. Whether they're building with the fish blocks, creating a floor puzzle with the insect pieces, or seeing how tall of a tower they can build, the materials are encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking in every corner of the library.\r\n\r\nThese materials are not only enriching our students' experiences, but also helping them make meaningful connections between what they read and what they can create. The joy and discovery they bring to our library is truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our students' growth through exploration and play. The students at our school have never had an opportunity to be a part of theater arts, so this was an amazing new experience for them. Originally, we were supposed to do a performance of \"The Ransom of Red Chief,\" but we ended up doing a performance of \"Oz: The Musical\" after we found out that it was an option for us. \r\n\r\nOur students learned about stage presence, acting, singing, and working together. It was absolutely amazing what the students put together in 5 short days. The script, props, and costumes were all provided by The Baillie Players, and they provided support throughout the week. \r\n\r\nI believe that many of the students who performed this year have found a new love for theater. They learned so much and had such an amazing time doing something new. We hope to provide this opportunity for our students again the future.
