Those have been so helpful in giving students a way to describe their emotions. It was like it was meant for us!\r\n\r\nThe rug has provided the kids a daily routine in which they go to the rug to gather and talk and play and learn! They are able to choose their spot freely but yet have a designated area in which they stay.\r\n\r\nThis was a remarkable gift and our class appreciates the donation so much. They have loved having all their materials all in one area so they can be creative with their projects and work! It has also been a handy tool to teach them about organizing as we use this space as a classroom community. Students go and get what they need and return it when finished. They are also able to use this space as a workshop area for special projects (like the photo submitted.) \r\n\r\nI was also able to create a second station for math (as my original list had to be changed.) This ended up working great as we needed new math stations especially for time. This area was designed to hold our classroom clock and the kids used their analog clock to match the time. \r\n\r\nBoth areas allowed students to move around the room while they work which is great!
