Getting the headphones and ear buds was awesome for the beginning of the year. The students were able to do their diagnostic without interrupting the other students. The headphones are great because they will use them everyday for i-ready computer work. They practice at their level to review skills that are not grade level material. \r\n\r\nThe other materials that were purchased include magnetic manipulatives to use in class. This allows the students to see as we work in class together. There is also a game to practice multiplication. My students need hands-on learning. As you see in the photos the students had a wonderful time using the STEM bins. My goal is to have them do these as soft openings for them during the first morning activities. \r\n\r\nThe activities allow independent work and are self paced. The students will work in groups of 2. The skills used in the STEM bins are a good practice as my school is digital immersion.
