After each weight-training session, our young men are able to use the nutritious snacks provided through this project to help replace the fuel their bodies used during training and support proper recovery.\r\n\r\nOne of the best moments has been seeing the athletes come out of the weight room, tired from their work, and know that they have something nutritious waiting for them. They quickly realized that these snacks were more than just something to eat—they were part of taking care of their bodies and preparing themselves for the next workout. Our athletes have been excited and grateful to have this resource available to them.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through our first offseason as a program, our next step is to keep building strong habits both in and out of the gym. We are teaching our young men that becoming better athletes requires more than what happens on the volleyball court.
