Here is the thank you message from the teacher, Rose Stevens:\r\n\r\nDear Donors Choose Contributors,\r\nThank you for the amazing Tower Garden. Our students and staff are very grateful for your donation. We've had such a good time assembling it! We read the instruction manual, watched videos, and had discussions on how to assemble the system. The students were quite engaged during this time, and we've been learning about the process of planting as well as the parts of plants. The students have been having a lot of fun! I look forward to growing food that we can eat together during our family style meals in class. \r\nSincerely, \r\nRose Stevens, Special Education Teacher at Philip Simmons Middle School \r\n\r\nWe can't thank you all enough for the gift you have given our students!","fullyFundedDate":1746720864226,"projectUrl":"project/tower-of-power/9144617/","projectTitle":"Tower of Power!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Platt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9077917_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1687291916619","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9077917"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_109419","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":473,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":48,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":30,"percentWhite":56,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"21.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.5,"schoolId":109419,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Philip Simmons Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Philip Simmons Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/berkeley-county-school-district/philip-simmons-middle-school-opening-fall-2016-/109419"}
