They love the crayon bags with their own crayons and scissors to use. They have love the beach towels. So far, some students have used them as their cover for rest time. When the weather cools off they will love sitting on them outside for lessons and for reading. \r\n\r\nThe students are excited to begin using the journals to draw and write in. This will be helpful for a glance at how they have grown throughout the year. The notebooks will be used as we learn nursery rhymes. \r\n\r\nThank you again for giving to this project. Reading is my passion! We received our project materials towards the end of February. As the boxes arrived, I began to get my reading intervention materials ready. The students will use the 26 Pieces Surprise Letters Treasure Locks with Keys, Snap-n-Learn Alphabet Alligators, and the Rainbow Play Alphabet Arch Mats to practice alphabet letter identification and letter sounds when working in a small group setting with me or together with a partner. The Little Reader Guided Reading Books (Levels A-E) include engaging stories with decodable text that will be used to foster a love for reading at an early age. The \"Learn To Read With Orton-Gillingham\" activity book will be used to incorporate several intervention support strategies that I have used in the course of my thirty year teaching career. The \"Alphabet Writing Dry Erase Practice Cards\" will support tracing and writing uppercase/lowercase letters with immediate correction and support for legible handwriting.\r\nThe materials have given me the ease of incorporating a variety of alphabet and letter sound materials to address the four primary modalities or learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile) in my classroom.
