These supplies have helped to give us a boost with the creation and implementation of recipes that we have been learning about throughout this first semester. We have used the hairnets and chef hats during daily production, new thermometers have helped us to ensure food safety, and containers for holding ingredients have been so helpful to have. \r\n\r\nOur students were very excited to receive the donations for our classroom. They were not sure about the use of each item and had not encountered every item we requested so they have been delighted with learning about the supplies and how they are used within the culinary industry. They have enjoyed having our green scrubbing pads for easier cleaning of pots and pans that get food stuck to them. The silicone brushes have helped with our egg-wash on baked goods and the tasting spoons have been very helpful for students to be able to taste their food before presenting it.
