I cannot thank you enough! As you can see from the photos, the classroom library is very organized!! Students can easily browse and find books that are just right to read and interesting to boot!\r\n\r\nI have organized by levels corresponding to color. Students know exactly where to find their level as well as return the books they have read each week. It is wonderful to see their excitement when it's their turn to trade! Books are lasting much longer! I am also able to display the read alouds on the shelves. It has made such a big difference! We can focus on reading! This is a favorite part of our school day! Our students have a wide variety of sensory needs. More specifically, students have auditory sensitivity which many time prevents them from participating in regular activities, such as assemblies, lunch in the cafeteria and even some physical education classes. \r\n\r\nThrough the use of the headphones, our students have not only been able to participate in these activities, they have become independent with using this as a strategy to help maintain their regulation. \r\n\r\nMost recently, we had a very large celebration in our gymnasium with our entire school community. There were almost 450 students and staff in the gym, celebrating, clapping and cheering. Not one student missed out on this event! Throughout the crowd, you could see multiple students using the headphones and being able to happily participate in this celebration. This donation was much more than headphones. It has helped promote inclusivity and independence for our students!","fullyFundedDate":1758687583809,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-tools-for-students/9653789/","projectTitle":"Sensory Tools for Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Biurrun","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7012638"},{"teacherId":6525330,"projectId":9291875,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation of magnetic letters for all of the K-2 classrooms within our building.
