This space has quickly become a valuable part of our classroom environment. Students use it when they need a moment to reset, regulate their emotions, or simply feel safe and supported. One meaningful moment was seeing a student independently choose to use the space, return to the group calmer, and successfully re-engage in learning.\r\n\r\nWhen students first became aware of these supports, their reactions were filled with gratitude and comfort. The students always love to draw and the addition of the marks made that joy multiply. They again shared each other's talents with art. \r\nWe have just started to play outside a day or two a week. The playground is now full of kickball and soccer games. One of my favorite moments was watching students proudly use the magnetic letters and Elkonin boxes to stretch out sounds in simple CVC words—something that felt challenging before now feels exciting and doable. When the materials first arrived, the students' faces lit up with excitement, and that enthusiasm has carried over into increased focus, participation, and confidence, especially as they continue to excel at learning their letters and sounds. These tools have added an engaging, multisensory element that \"amps up\" our instruction and keeps students motivated.
