Using hand mixers up until now we had to discontinue making Chocolate Chip Cookies because the batter would break the mixers every time! What kind of cooking class doesn't make Chocolate Chip Cookies?\r\nThe first request when we unpacked them was to make them! The students loved the mixers they thought they were a great color to spice up our room! \r\n\r\n My upper-level students could not wait to make bread, so even though we received them at the end of the year I let the seniors make loaves of bread. They turned out great and the students discovered the difference of using a dough hook verse kneading by hand. They all agreed the dough hook was much easier and the bread had a better texture then breads they have made in the past. The hook definitely helped the gluten form and stretch in all directions!\r\nWe really had a lot of fun our first time using them, and exploring all of the functions they have!\r\n\r\nI am retiring at the end of the school year after 34 years in the classroom, thank you for helping me leave new learning opportunity for all the students that go through my kitchens!","fullyFundedDate":1746565044198,"projectUrl":"project/mix-it-up-help-equip-cooking-classroom/9193720/","projectTitle":"Mix It Up!
