The moment they first saw the new materials, their faces absolutely lit up. There were gasps, giggles, and a few happy little dances! These cuddly friends quickly became an essential part of our daily routines.\r\n\r\nWe use the stuffed animals during morning meetings, partner reading, and social emotional learning lessons. One of my favorite moments so far was watching a student who is usually very shy choose a stuffed animal reading buddy and proudly read an entire book aloud to it for the first time. These stuffed animals give students comfort, confidence, and a sense of ownership in the classroom.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are beginning a unit on storytelling and character traits, and the stuffed animals are helping students act out simple stories, practice retelling, and explore emotions. Our next steps include using them for role-play activities that build vocabulary, communication skills, and empathy.\r\n\r\nYour support brought so much joy, comfort, and creativity into our classroom.
