The colorful educational rug has transformed our meeting area into a welcoming place where we gather for morning meetings, read-alouds, phonics lessons, and class discussions. The bean bag chairs have created comfortable reading spots that encourage students to curl up with a book and practice their growing literacy skills. When the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They immediately noticed the bright rug and eagerly asked if they could sit on the bean bags during independent reading time. Their enthusiasm made the first day with these resources truly special.\r\n\r\nThe storage bins and organizing cases have also made a tremendous difference in our daily routines. Our classroom materials, manipulatives, art supplies, and learning tools are now neatly organized and easily accessible for little hands. During a recent literacy and writing project, students were able to independently gather and return materials, helping them build responsibility and confidence while maximizing learning time. The organized environment has allowed students to focus more on learning and less on searching for supplies.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our end-of-year learning and I prepare for future classroom projects, these resources will remain an important part of my daily instruction. Students will use the rug for collaborative lessons and community-building activities, the bean bag chairs for independent and partner reading, and the storage systems to support hands-on math, science, and art explorations. Your support has created a more comfortable, organized, and engaging classroom environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact on my students' educational experience.","fullyFundedDate":1779651008756,"projectUrl":"project/pages-and-pillows-reading-corner/10299709/","projectTitle":"Pages and Pillows Reading Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Goldberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10515964_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1779317307991","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10515964"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88945","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":289,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":82,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"11.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":88.2,"schoolId":88945,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Honey Brook Elementary Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Honey Brook Elementary Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/twin-valley-school-district/honey-brook-elementary-center/88945"}
