That gets us some tissues. With the money for our classroom that was awarded I was able to purchase technology, storage, sensory items, and classroom materials for us to use for years to come. I was able to transform our sensory space in our classroom to help best meet the needs of all of our students. With the items I was able to create comfortable seating, have sensory equipment like the swing/chair and also the sensory toys. This space will be used for the next couple of years.\r\n\r\nSome of the other items are a great addition to our classroom because we teach life skills and adaptive, functional skills in my room. We go out on community based instruction or trips in the community. The items purchased will help my students have a more accessible and better time doing that.\r\n\r\nThe other items purchased are used for different purposes in our classroom instruction. We also were able to use the technology purchased for a teaching resource for our students.
