We are a small rural school with very few opportunities for job skills in the community. The lack of businesses in our area really hurts our students from obtaining the job skills that they desperately need. With your donation, I was able to build a \"task box\" center where the students can work on these skills right here in my classroom. The task boxes contain tasks such as job skills (hole punching, silverware bundling, filing, etc.), home skills (tying shoes, reading clothing tags, laundry skills, etc.), and academic skills (alphabetizing, abbreviations, solving word problems, etc.). Without your donation, this could not have been possible. Not only are you giving my students the skills they need, but you are also showing them that we still live in a society where people care and are willing to help others.
