We're using the materials to complete hands-on labs where students get to work with authentic scientific tools instead of just reading about them or watching demonstrations.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was obvious — but so was the curiosity. Many students had never seen some of these items before and had no idea what they were or how to use them. That moment of \"what is this and what does it do?\" turned into one of the best teaching opportunities of the year. Instead of me just explaining the equipment, students got to explore it, ask questions, and figure things out through trial and error — which is exactly how real scientists work.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're building on this momentum by moving into a full inquiry-based investigation where students design their own experiments using the equipment. Now that students are comfortable handling the tools, they're ready to take more ownership of the process — asking their own questions, forming hypotheses, and using the equipment independently rather than just following step-by-step instructions.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just provide materials — it gave my students the confidence and curiosity to engage with science the way real scientists do. These games enables students to work on their social skills and collobration with students in different classes as well as different grades. So far the clubs have been a success for all members of my school. The students don't get a recess throughout the day in which some students really need some down time. This club class enables them to just be kids and have fun. Many of my students are learning English as their second language so the sounds are not always the same as in their native language. They will be able to learn through a game which is always fun for them. Now with your donations, the students will be able to enjoy the prizes that they deserve for their continued appropraite behaviors. \r\n\r\n The students are always excited when the store is open and they are able to find items in stock. Without the supplies, the PBIS incentive would not be possible. Teachers and staff also supply items but it is hard to continually ask for them to donate when they are doing so much more for the school/students.
