Because of your contributions, my students now have access to engaging, hands-on materials that are making a meaningful difference in their learning. In the photo above, one of my students is working on a coloring activity while using newly provided sensory supports. These tools are helping students stay regulated, focused, and actively engaged in their work. What might seem like a simple coloring task is actually building fine motor skills, increasing attention span, and promoting independence—skills that are essential for their overall development.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were so excited. Many of them immediately gravitated toward the colorful, hands-on items and were eager to explore. For some of my students, especially those who need additional sensory input, having access to these resources has reduced frustration and increased their willingness to participate in classroom tasks. It has been incredibly rewarding to see students who typically struggle with engagement now sit longer, complete activities, and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue incorporating these materials into structured lessons and independent work time. Our next steps include expanding their use into small group instruction, where students can practice turn-taking, communication, and cooperative learning. Your support has not only enhanced our current lessons but has also opened the door for more individualized and meaningful learning experiences. I'm able to make customized materials that address specific student's needs that can be utilized for years to come. I often enjoy creating laminated materials relating to thematic and seasonal lessons I develop. We have been using these with the Osmo app. on an iPad to draw and describe objects to build our knowledge and use of vocabulary. My students also love the double sided funny face mirrors. They are able to get visual feedback with how they are producing their speech sounds in real time. The bonus side of the mirror makes learning fun and engaging. My students also love getting their wiggles out with the fidget bands on chairs so they can stay focused and learn. \r\n\r\nWe also appreciate your donation to help us stock up on essentials such as tissues and Clorox wipes to keep our therapy space clean and germ free.
