With the items that I requested and now currently have from the project, my team of teachers and myself have been able to improve/maintain good attendance (keeping the germs away with the cleaning products) and provide classrooms full of color and attention. One thing I am so excited about and my students love are the new pencil sharpeners! So many students talk about how having a sharp pencil matters to. be write clearly and neatly. Speaking of pencils, I was able to provide my students with a set of pencils to use at school and at home for homework that they take home. I cannot tell you how many times students have come forward to me saying that they don't own a pencil. Now I am able to provide that! I personally spend a lot of money on my students to fund our PBIS items because our school district is very much in debt and is unable to provide funding of these types of things.
