Having working headphones will make a huge difference in my students’ learning. Headphones will aid in classroom management and conditions of learning. They will be able to engage in their learning and minimize distractions. They can “get in the zone” and interact with their Read 180 software which requires them to listen to passages as well as hear words related to word recognition and spelling tasks. Headphones also keep the room quiet while others are working on other activities. This helps with classroom management and limits confusion as students often get answers wrong due to interruptions. Hep me keep these students focused and “in the zone” with headphones.
