Thank you so much from both my students and me! We have been using our donated resources for extra practice, games, and review. \r\n\r\nOne way that we have been using our donation is through creating a review game called capture the flag. I used the bright variety pack of cardstock to print out different color cards with flags on them. Then the students work on review questions and get the checked as they complete one. If their group worked the problem correctly, they get to take a flag in whatever color they choose. Each color is assigned a secret number of points, whether, positive, negative, or zero, and they don't find out the point value until the end! Who would have known that even just a little bit of cardstock would stir such excitement in our classroom! They love the bright colors of the flags, and the cardstock helps our game cards to last longer.\r\n\r\nAs we move farther into the curriculum I'm excited to try out the other resources that have been provided!
