The meditation chair, with its massage feature, has become a special place where a student can take a few minutes to decompress, reset, and return to learning feeling calmer and more focused. The positive affirmation posters have also helped create an encouraging atmosphere and provide students with daily reminders of their worth, potential, and ability to grow.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful parts of this project has been seeing students recognize that taking care of their emotional well-being is an important part of learning. We are creating intentional moments to pause, reflect, journal, practice gratitude, and develop mindfulness strategies that students can carry with them beyond our classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue incorporating these resources into our mindfulness and wellness activities throughout the year.
