We were able to get the items we needed: a new griddle, updated utensils, and replacement brooms and dustpans. These items will help support our daily living skills program.\r\n\r\nStudents will be able to practice important skills such as meal preparation, following directions, kitchen safety, and cleaning up after cooking. Students will also have the opportunity to practice caring for their learning environment while developing household skills they can use at home and in the community. These everyday tools may seem simple, but they provide meaningful opportunities for our students to build confidence, responsibility, independence, and practical skills that will support them throughout their lives.
