The students were thrilled to receive the delivery! \r\n\r\nAs one can imagine, we have lots of food items to organize after we grocery shop or when we get food delivered from the district. Organization is something we strive for whether it's organizing our pantry/refrigerator (like this project) or our everyday schedules.\r\n\r\nHaving these organizational bins will help students find what they need when preparing breakfast and lunch. Preparing meals is something the students learn while attending this program. With more organization, students will also be able to see which items we are running low on. The first thing they made were brownies!\r\n\r\nAt CITY Connections, not only do our students learn vocational skills but they also learn independent living skills. The students love learning how to bake and cook. With the items bought with your generous donations, students are not only learning how to cook/bake but they are also working on their functional academic skills (measuring/reading & following recipes).\r\n\r\nThank you again!
