The hygiene and feminine products are kept in a discreet, accessible area so students can obtain what they need without feeling embarrassed or having to miss class.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were surprised and grateful that they had a place to go to get items that they need without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. One meaningful moment occurred when a student quietly selected a needed personal-care item and a snack, then returned to class and participated confidently in the lesson. That simple moment demonstrated how meeting students' basic needs can protect their dignity and remove barriers to learning.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building students' confidence as they practice solving mathematical skills through guided instruction, partner activities, and small-group review. Because these essential resources are readily available, students can concentrate more fully on learning, completing assignments, and preparing for upcoming assessments.
