The children are having many new experiences while engaging in activities that enhance their fine motor skills. For example, since we received our materials, each day kids have been excited to use the dry erase markers and book to write letters of the alphabet. They are perfecting their finger grasp and getting more experience with writing letters each and every day!\r\n\r\nThe kids were filled with anticipation as they watched boxes arrive in our classroom with \"new presents\" for them! As I opened each box, the oohs and ahhs were endless. To say they were excited does not give it justice! They could not wait to move on to the next package to see what was inside. Once they were opened, they could not wait to explore all of the materials! We had to set up learning centers throughout the room so they could explore all of the new items. \r\n\r\nAs we continue to use our new materials, we hope that our students will continue to engage in the materials as frequently as they are now. While they do so, they will be enhancing their muscles used in fine motor development, cutting skills, tracing skills, writing skills, letter recognition, and more!
