I have put all of the supplies to good use already and our school year does not start until September 4th. \r\n We had our Kindergarten Orientation this past week and my students and parents were delighted to see the supplies utilized in my classroom. Each student received a folder that they will use each day to bring needed paperwork to and from school, but I have also included a cute personalized paper in the front of each folder that students can color to make the folder their own. These folders are so much more durable for use through out the year! Parents were pleased to have this resource.\r\n In setting up my room, I used the large number stickers to number each student box on my shelf. The number system helps kindergarten students learn their numbers and organize their supplies easily. Within the box, each student received a pair of headphones that they will use when we use our iPads. Having their own headphones is going to make it much easier for transition time during centers. There will be less tangling of wires and I will not have to clean shared earbuds between centers. Students will work in small groups to play the CVC word game, that was also purchased, without having to hear the students' iPads.
