Several students immediately pressed close to observe their colors, movements, and personalities. \r\n\r\nSince then, the lizards have become an incredible learning tool. Students are observing their behaviors, asking questions about why they change colors, researching their habitats, and recording notes like real scientists. They've begun connecting what they see to topics such as adaptations, food chains, and environmental needs. These daily interactions have transformed science from something they read about into something they experience. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to use the anoles in ongoing investigations--tracking changes over time, comparing behaviors, designing experimental about light and temperature, and building stronger scientific journals.
