When the elementary school that you attend has open pods - which means no walls between the classes- it is very difficult to maintain a quiet environment. Our auditory learners are able to have more resources at their fingertips. We have 6 first grade classrooms and our divided into 2 pods with 3 classrooms each. We have been able to share the items you helped purchase to help us \"survive\" these last few months of indoor recess. Each side was able to recieve a variety of items to help with imaginative play while \"stuck inside.\" Your donations also helped us purchase recess storage for when we finally get to go outside\r\nThe students have so enjoyed the new items we have received. I have to say that the pretend food and the various Melissa and Doug items have been a huge success. They have enjoyed playing with the magnetic figures, the take-along wooden case with cars and track, and the pretend food have been the biggest favorites. \r\nWe cannot begin to express our gratitude for your generosity. You have provided wonderful items for over 100 students in our first grade classrooms.
