These materials have already made a huge impact in our classroom. My students use the fidgets during independent work, small group instruction, and whole group lessons to help them stay focused and regulated. One moment that really stood out was during a writing activity, students who typically struggle to stay seated and complete their work were able to remain engaged and finish their tasks while using the sensory tools. It has truly helped increase both their independence and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were so excited and eager to try everything. We took time to model and practice how to use the tools appropriately, and they quickly understood how these items can help them learn. It has been amazing to see them begin to advocate for themselves by choosing tools that help them focus and succeed.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue incorporating these sensory supports into our daily routines, especially during challenging academic tasks like reading and writing. My goal is for students to become more independent in recognizing what they need to be successful learners. Your generosity has not only provided materials, but also meaningful opportunities for growth, self-regulation, and success in our classroom.
