One moment that really stood out was a student quietly thanking me for letting them take a snack home \"just in case.\" These small moments remind me how big of an impact this support has.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, they were genuinely excited and relieved. Many asked if they could save some for later or take one home for the evening. It was clear that this project made them feel seen, cared for, and supported. Knowing they wouldn't go hungry helped them settle into learning with less worry and more confidence.\r\n\r\nWith this basic need met, my students are better able to focus on current classroom lessons, practice important life skills, and participate fully in activities without distraction. Because of this generosity, my students are more motivated, engaged, and excited to learn in meaningful, hands-on ways.\r\n\r\n We have used these items for cooking and for hosting a mobile coffee cart every Friday.
