Because of your support, I was able to create a craft cart where students can design, print, and assemble Cricut projects. We now have a place to store sheet vinyl and organize our tools, which has made a huge difference in how we work and create. This designated space has helped keep my classroom tidy and organized (THANK YOU)!\r\n\r\nYour donation also allowed me to get items like a cordless hot glue gun, which we have already used many times since it arrived. The magnetic hooks have been especially helpful for displaying student projects from the ceiling, making our classroom feel more creative.\r\n\r\nYour kindness will continue to impact my classroom year after year and will benefit hundreds of students. I am truly grateful for your support and the opportunities you have made possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1766116143287,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-keep-creating/9951317/","projectTitle":"Help Us Keep Creating","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Conway","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6084390_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1559088548828","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6084390"},{"teacherId":6084390,"projectId":9953009,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our DonorsChoose project, The World at Our Feet. I appreciate how quickly this project was funded, it meant so much to be able to bring it into our classroom right away. When the materials arrived, my students were beyond excited. As we opened everything together, their faces lit up like it was Christmas morning. \r\n\r\nSince then, it has become such an important part of our classroom. We use it all the time for group work and games/puzzles, which has been great for building teamwork and keeping students engaged in a fun way. Even during our daily routine, students use it for stretching before afternoon practice.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I also really appreciate how practical it is. It's washable and easy to keep clean, which is a HUGE plus in a classroom with middle schoolers. Living in a snowy area, this has made a bigger impact than I expected. During the winter months, when it's cold and gray outside, our classroom can sometimes feel the same way. This has helped make the room feel warmer and more inviting. It adds a sense of comfort that my students and I have really enjoyed.\r\n\r\nOverall, this has been such a great addition to our classroom. It's something my students and I use every day, and it has quickly become one of our favorite parts of the room. Your generosity has made a real difference for us, and I'm so grateful for your support. Thank you again for helping create a space that my students truly enjoy.","fullyFundedDate":1766116143275,"projectUrl":"project/the-world-at-our-feet/9953009/","projectTitle":"The World at Our Feet","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Conway","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6084390_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1559088548828","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6084390"},{"teacherId":6084390,"projectId":9756387,"letterContent":"I owe you an apology for the delayed thank you. I wanted to wait because I honestly needed time to see what this puzzle table would become in my classroom. When it first arrived through DonorsChoose, the excitement was immediate. Seniors and 8th graders jumped right in to assemble it, spread out the pieces on the floor, figuring out directions together. We opened the 1,000-piece puzzle first and quickly realized we may have aimed a little high! My 8th grade homeroom voted to start with a 300-piece puzzle instead, and just like that, a group of 8th grade boys made it their morning routine...grab breakfast, head to the puzzle table. Before long, my 7th graders and study hall students wanted in too. At first there was some \"we started it, so it's ours\" energy, but that didn't last long.\r\n\r\nWhat I've watched happen since then has honestly been one of the coolest classroom shifts I've seen in a while. The table has turned into a social hub in the best possible way. Students now walk in asking, \"Did anyone find that missing piece?\" They notice progress. They encourage each other. Around that table I've overheard conversations about teamwork, perseverance, sports, and just life as middle schoolers. It's calm there, focused but relaxed. No one is loud. They're thinking, scanning, problem-solving, and helping each other without me stepping in. Even better, I've seen those same skills transfer into classwork, less giving up, more collaboration, more ownership. As a teacher, that's the kind of thing you hope for but don't always get to see so clearly. Thank you for making this possible. It has truly changed the feel of our room, and my students and I are so grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1765236672730,"projectUrl":"project/table-of-teamwork-learning-through-puzz/9756387/","projectTitle":"Table of Teamwork: Learning Through Puzzles","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Conway","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6084390_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1559088548828","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6084390"},{"teacherId":6084390,"projectId":9355466,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our \"Rooted in Innovation: Growing Green in our Classroom\" project. When the boxes arrived, my students could hardly contain their excitement. They gathered around immediately, unboxed each item, and worked together to put the garden systems together from start to finish. It was so meaningful to watch them problem-solve, help one another, and cheer when everything clicked into place. They were proud of what they built, and it set the tone for everything that came next.\r\n\r\nSince then, our classroom has turned into a lively and colorful growing space. Students begin each day by checking on our plants, testing water levels, adjusting the lights, and gently pruning leaves. They love seeing new growth and often point out changes to each other before class has even started. We have already transferred many of our strongest plants into larger pots, and our windowsills are now filled with healthy, thriving greenery. The seed starter kits encouraged students to compare soil growth with hydroponic growth, and the aquaponic system has sparked so many great questions about sustainability, ecosystems, and how food is grown in the real world.\r\n\r\nYour gift did so much more than provide materials. It gave my students hands-on experiences that helped them see themselves as gardeners, scientists, and caretakers. Their next steps include documenting growth patterns, experimenting with different nutrient levels, and preparing to harvest our first classroom-grown herbs and greens. Your generosity has created daily moments of pride and curiosity that I know they will remember for a long time.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping my classroom grow in every possible way.","fullyFundedDate":1757546684792,"projectUrl":"project/rooted-in-innovation-growing-green-in-o/9355466/","projectTitle":"Rooted in Innovation: Growing Green in our Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Conway","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6084390_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1559088548828","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6084390"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_89337","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":402,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":96,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":62.5,"schoolId":89337,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Keystone Junior Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Keystone Junior Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/keystone-school-district/keystone-junior-senior-high-school/89337"}
