Our flexible seating buckets turned out amazing with all the the colors of duct tape. This will be a fantastic keepsake that they will get to take home at the end of the year. Our Braille project was \"eye-opening\" for the students when we utilized the puffy paint. Each student was able to create a Braille project, creating the raised dots using the puffy paint. They were blown away with this real life experience and simulation of how some kids learn. This was an extension activity after reading the story Blind Ambition in our reading series. Our Christmas projects for our families looked fantastic from utilizing the Mod Podge to seal them. The students created coasters for their families to take home. The glue gun came in handy tremendously during our Christmas Around the World unit to create all of our decorations. One last supply we have not opened is our Astro- bright paper. This will be used to create our friendship cinquain poems for Valentine's Day that will be displayed on their lockers. \r\n When the boxes of supplies arrived, the students could not wait to open them. Then once opened they could not wait to hear what the supplies were for. That alone created excitement! As I stated before, friendship cinquains are up next as we enter into February. This will be the beginning of our poetry unit. The students will be exposed to various forms of poems and be able to use their imaginations to create pieces of their own!\r\n Again the fourth graders and I thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness for our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1762882038693,"projectUrl":"project/creativity-in-the-classroom-sparks-imagi/9882502/","projectTitle":"Creativity in the Classroom Sparks Imagination!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10071958_orig.jpg?crop=263,263,x0,y6&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751866151671","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10071958"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_90381","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":626,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":93,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"24.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":29.0,"schoolId":90381,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Greenville Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Greenville Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/greenville-area-school-district/hempfield-elementary-school/90381"}
