Finding a way to keep a first grade room organized is a challenge. It becomes more of a challenge when multiple devices need to be stored and charged in a way that allows students easy access to those items. Additionally, we are located in a low income area. Our district does not supply students with headphones. Purchasing headphones is a financial struggle for some of our families. \r\nI have a total of 17 students. Seventeen Chromebooks with charging cords is a lot to try to stack or line up on a counter. The storage shelves that were purchased for my classroom has been an amazing, efficient, and stylish way for the students to access their Chromebooks and keep them in their own designated space - making for much faster retrieval. \r\nI would like to also let you know that many of my students are from families that struggle financially. The families were very relieved to hear that we had a generous donor that provided headphones.
