Your kindness and support are helping make our Starbucks-inspired café a fun, exciting, and meaningful part of our classroom experience.\r\nMy students were so excited when they saw the food items that were donated! They immediately started talking about which items they wanted to purchase and how much classroom money they would need to save. It has been wonderful to watch their excitement turn into motivation. Several students have already started saving their classroom money for items they have their eyes on, and a couple of students have even decided to put their money together so they could purchase an item already!\r\nWhat may seem like a simple snack or food item is actually providing my students with valuable opportunities to practice important life skills. Through our classroom café, students are learning how to count money, save for something they want, make purchasing decisions, budget their earnings, and work together. They are learning that sometimes they need to be patient and save before they can afford something they really want.\r\nOur classroom economy also encourages students to work hard, participate, show perseverance, demonstrate kindness, and display PARKER PRIDE. Students earn classroom money for their positive choices and effort, which they can then spend at our café. This system gives them a tangible way to see the connection between their effort and their rewards.\r\nI especially love seeing students work together and support one another. The fact that two students have already combined their money to purchase something is such a great example of cooperation, communication, and problem-solving. These are skills that extend far beyond the classroom and will benefit them throughout their lives.\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom café possible and for giving my students something exciting to work toward. Your generosity is doing so much more than providing food—it is creating opportunities for learning, independence, responsibility, perseverance, and teamwork.\r\nMost importantly, you have helped create a classroom where my students are excited to come to school, motivated to work hard, and proud of their accomplishments. I cannot wait to see what they choose to save for next!\r\nThank you for believing in my students and for helping make our Starbucks Café such a special part of our classroom. They were so surprised and excited to see their classroom transformed into a fun and welcoming space. They couldn't believe that their classroom actually looked like Starbucks, and they immediately started talking about the drinks they wanted to earn.\r\nThe supplies you donated will allow us to create Starbucks-inspired drinks such as refreshers and other special treats for our students to enjoy as rewards. Our classroom economy allows students to earn classroom money by working hard, participating, showing perseverance, being kind, and demonstrating PARKER PRIDE. They can then use their hard-earned classroom money to purchase drinks and snacks from our very own Starbucks Café.\r\nWhile the drinks are certainly exciting, this experience is about so much more than a fun reward. It gives my students the opportunity to practice important real-life skills such as counting money, making purchases, budgeting their earnings, making choices, and figuring out change. It also provides a positive way to recognize students for their effort, perseverance, and personal growth.\r\nMy students are already inspired to work hard because they are excited about earning their classroom money and visiting our café. Thank you so much for donating the tables and chairs that have helped transform our classroom into a welcoming, comfortable, and motivating space for learning.\r\nThe reaction from my students when they walked into the classroom for the first time was absolutely priceless. Their faces lit up as they looked around and saw our new flexible seating options. They were amazed by the tables and chairs and couldn't believe that their classroom actually looked like Starbucks! They immediately began talking about where they wanted to sit, which seats were their favorites, and how much they loved our new classroom setup. It was such a special moment to see their excitement and hear them proudly call it \"our Starbucks classroom.\"\r\nWhile the Starbucks theme is fun and exciting, there is a much bigger purpose behind our classroom design. As a Learning Support teacher, I am always looking for creative ways to motivate my students, build confidence, and help them see school as a place where they can be successful. The flexible seating options give my students opportunities to choose a learning space where they feel comfortable and ready to focus. Having a classroom environment that feels inviting and unique can make such a difference in how students approach their day.\r\nOur classroom also incorporates a classroom economy, where students can earn classroom money for demonstrating perseverance, working hard, being kind, participating, and showing their PARKER PRIDE. They can then use their money to \"purchase\" drinks and snacks from our very own classroom Starbucks Café. This allows us to incorporate important real-life skills such as counting money, making purchases, figuring out change, making choices, and managing their earnings—all while providing meaningful motivation for academic and behavioral success.\r\nAlready, I am seeing the excitement translate into motivation. My students are inspired to work hard because they are eager to earn their classroom money and enjoy the rewards they have worked for. More importantly, they are beginning to understand that effort, perseverance, kindness, and responsibility are valuable and worth celebrating.\r\nYour donation has done so much more than provide tables and chairs. You have helped create a classroom where students feel excited to enter, comfortable to learn, and motivated to challenge themselves. You have helped make our classroom a place where learning feels engaging, purposeful, and fun.\r\nThank you for investing in my students and believing in the importance of creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
