It has quickly become one of our favorite places in the classroom. We use it every day for morning meetings, read-alouds, phonics and math lessons, classroom discussions, and movement activities. Having a comfortable, defined space for whole-group learning has helped my kindergarten students know where to gather, focus their attention, and participate together.\r\n\r\nThe rug has also given us a special place to wiggle, grow, and learn throughout our school day. My students love sitting together on the rug to listen to stories, practice sounds and letters, share their thinking, and celebrate their learning. It has helped make our classroom feel warm, welcoming, and ready for learning. As we continue through the school year, we will keep using this space to build classroom community and make learning active and engaging.\r\n\r\nThank you so much to our donors, including our Anonymous Donor, for helping make this project possible! Because of your generosity, I was able to create a more inviting and functional learning space for my kindergarten students.
