With the funding of the books, my students have continued to grow as readers. I now find students visiting our classroom bookshelf more often and choosing titles that they are interested in. With the added variety to our classroom library, students have shown an interest in reading and learning about a variety of topics. This addition to our classroom has contributed to our goals as readers. My students have grown in the areas of fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
