As class sizes have continued to increase, finding enough appropriate workspace for every student has become an ongoing challenge. In an art classroom, having adequate space is especially important because students need room not only to sit and work, but also to move around the room, access materials, collaborate with classmates, and safely complete hands-on projects.\r\n\r\nThe additional seating space provided through this project has helped make the classroom more functional and flexible. Rather than having students crowded together or needing to share limited workspace, I have been able to provide students with a designated area where they can comfortably complete their artwork. This has been particularly helpful during projects that require multiple materials or several steps to complete. Students need enough space to organize their supplies, work on their artwork, and make changes without interfering with the work of others.","fullyFundedDate":1659713749512,"projectUrl":"project/extra-art-seating/6584152/","projectTitle":"Extra Art Seating!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bryson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7934968_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y151&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1791038390369","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7934968"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_89469","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":583,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":55,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":62,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":10,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":83.1,"schoolId":89469,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about East Pennsboro Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"East Pennsboro Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/east-pennsboro-area-school-district/east-pennsboro-elementary-school/89469"}
