Your generosity is giving our students the opportunity to explore creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning in exciting new ways.\r\n\r\nMy 2nd grade students were so excited when we received the pens in the mail. They had been using older 3D Doodler pens that were slowing breaking, which caused us to only have 3 working pens. When you have 130 students, it's difficult to only have 3 working pens! Now we have 8 new pens and the students have been making everything they can imagine. They have made glasses, butterflies, and more.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our students have been able to turn their ideas into real creations while building confidence and important STEAM skills. The excitement on their faces as they design and create is truly amazing!\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your support and for believing in our students and their future. The students are so excited to learn about them when they see them. Once I explain how each Leap Frog activity works, I allow students to freely use them. They often race to get one (even though I tell them to walk)! \r\n\r\nIn the future, I plan to buy more Leap Frog compatible books for the students to use and learn from. Thank you so much for affording my students the opportunity to have these things.\r\n\r\nThey have new dolls and dollhouse furniture for the 2 very large doll houses we have. That center is always full of students and I often have to monitor who uses that center because everyone wants a turn - especially now that there are new dolls and furniture. Creative play is so good for young children and these items foster that play.\r\n\r\nThey also have 10 wobble cushions. These cushions can be used anywhere in the room for the students to sit on. The students have fun wobbling around and they also enjoy a comfortable place to sit when they are sitting on the floor.\r\n\r\nSome students were able to unpack most of these items with me and were very excited to help and see what was new. These skills include: Vocabulary building, Reading comprehension, Inference and prediction, Text structure recognition. \r\n\r\nSeveral students have shown particular enthusiasm for the new books.
