I observe them go straight to the bins in which I keep everything, and they are so excited knowing that they can calmly be off of their phones dropping the dopamine rush. \r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the materials, they were so excited!! We talked about their purpose and the benefits of being screen free. We now have a system of just getting the fidgets and resources as they need without asking. \r\n\r\nI recently had a guest speaker in to talk about financial literacy and all of the students were able to keep their heads up off of the desks and keep eye contact with her the entire time.
