A particularly wonderful moment happened this week during our morning read-aloud rotations, where our students were able to sit comfortably together on the floor, fully engaged in the story illustrations and interactive puppet discussions without any restless squirming. Seeing their faces light up as we unboxed our brand-new, flexible mobile resources sent an immediate wave of celebration throughout our entire school community!\r\n\r\nOur students are already using these dynamic new resources to take complete ownership of their library floor. A wonderful, specific moment happened this past week during our morning rotations, where our Kindergarten students were able to utilize our new tables and mobile carts to stage an interactive puppet theater right during our weekly read-aloud session! Additionally, our 1st-grade students used the mobile station layout to master our digital book scanners, proudly assisting their classmates with our library book checkout lines with total focus.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next operational steps are to fully integrate these mobile learning stations into our upcoming autumn research and keyboarding units. For some students, sitting still for extended periods will interfere with their ability to concentrate. The Wiggle Feet chair risers provide movement without distraction, allowing students to gently move while remaining engaged in instruction. This simple adjustment has helped students channel their energy in a positive and productive way! \r\n\r\nThese flexible seating supports are also helping students strengthen important core muscles while they work, which contributes to better posture, body control, and sustained attention.
