Because of your kindness, each student will now have a set of Bouncy Band Wiggle Feet chair risers that are already making a meaningful difference during small group reading instruction.\r\n\r\nMany of my struggling readers work incredibly hard each day to stay focused while learning challenging literacy skills. For some students, sitting still for extended periods will interfere with their ability to concentrate. The Wiggle Feet chair risers provide movement without distraction, allowing students to gently move while remaining engaged in instruction. This simple adjustment has helped students channel their energy in a positive and productive way! \r\n\r\nThese flexible seating supports are also helping students strengthen important core muscles while they work, which contributes to better posture, body control, and sustained attention. Most importantly, we are seeing improved concentration during reading intervention lessons! Students are more comfortable, more regulated and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nHaving a full set of eight Wiggle Feet risers allow readers of all ages and learning needs to benefit from flexible seating options in our classroom. Your support is helping create an inclusive learning environment where students can focus on building confidence and success as readers. In addition, they develop communication and social interaction skills by taking orders, greeting staff, and delivering products, which fosters confidence and self-advocacy.\r\n\r\nThis project also creates natural opportunities for peer and staff collaboration, promoting inclusion and understanding within the school community. By integrating academics (math, reading, writing) with functional life skills and vocational experiences, the coffee cart prepares students for future independence both inside and outside of school.
