I am an occupational therapist and prior to developing this project, my physical therapist counterpart and I developed a list of students who would greatly benefit from the use of a crash pad. The large majority of those students are in our Transition Kindergarten classroom, so the crash pad was placed in that classroom for trial. \r\n\r\nIn case you haven't already guessed, the kids LOVED IT. They were so excited to try it out and not only is it great for individual sensory use, but it is also amazing for class bonding and learning to take turns and just a really run break throughout the day! \r\n\r\nMany of the students in that classroom will get to have the same teacher next year and therefore will continue to benefit from the crash pad for another year. And, incoming students will have the benefit of it as well! All of that to say, I am deeply grateful for your generosity in helping too bring this project to fruition.
