Your generosity and support mean more than you may realize. Every donation, whether it was a box of pencils, a pack of erasers, glue sticks, or Expo markers, makes a meaningful difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nTeachers use countless supplies throughout the school year, and having these everyday materials readily available allows us to spend more time focusing on what matters most—teaching, learning, and helping our students grow. Something as simple as an Expo marker allows us to practice a skill on the whiteboard. A pencil gives a student the opportunity to complete an assignment. An eraser allows a student to make a mistake, try again, and learn from it. Glue sticks help bring projects and creative activities to life. These supplies may seem small, but they play a very important role in our students' everyday learning experiences.\r\n\r\nYour donations also help ensure that students have the materials they need without having to worry about whether they can afford them. When a student runs out of a pencil, loses an eraser, or needs a glue stick for an activity, we are able to provide what they need and keep them engaged in the lesson. No student should have to miss out on an activity because they do not have the proper supplies, and your generosity helps make sure that doesn't happen.\r\n\r\nBeyond the supplies themselves, your donations send an important message to our students: their education matters, and their community believes in them. When students see parents, families, and community members supporting their classroom, they learn that their education is something worth investing in. That encouragement can have an impact far beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for each person who took the time to purchase, donate, or contribute supplies this school year. Up until a year ago, our high school did not even have a digital art program. Within a year's time, this program has already doubled in size. Now, thanks to your contributions allowing me access to equipment that can further my knowledge and understanding of the content, we are in the process of expanding our digital art program to include advanced classes that will allow students the opportunity to expand their skillset in this content area.\r\n\r\nThanks to you and your generous donation, Brentwood High School was supplied with a new IPad and Apple Pencil that acts as the main teaching resource for the digital art program. This equipment is allowing me to develop new projects, lessons, and classes that will help our students become proficient in digital art, inspiring them to create and granting them a new creative outlet that most of them have never had access to. With this teaching resource, I will be developing a level 2 digital art course, doubling our course offerings for digital art, and there are already discussions being had for even more classes! \r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, and from all of us here at Brentwood High School, thank you so much for your kindness and patronage.
