Our Antietam Esports team is growing and expanding every day and we wanted to ensure that there were enough opportunities for every student to have a chance to play and practice. With your donation, we were able to buy a second Nintendo Switch system and Super Smash Bros Ultimate game in order to have two practice sessions happening at once. This has helped the more novice players not only get more practice time but also allowed us the ability to separate players by skill rather than everyone having to play together. It has really helped our team to grow. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, after just starting this team earlier this year, we're proud to say that we've signed up to compete in the Spring Season of Super Smash Bros Ultimate through PSEL. After diligently practicing for the entire first half of the school year, students are going to be able to compete with other schools to continue to challenge themselves. All of this would not have been possible without your donation, so on behalf of myself and the Antietam Esports team aka The Antietam Primes, we thank you for donating.","fullyFundedDate":1731423320692,"projectUrl":"project/esports-expansion/8845577/","projectTitle":"Esports Expansion","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Schiffert","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9583619"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88870","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":552,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":35,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":52,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.6,"schoolId":88870,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Antietam High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Antietam High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/antietam-school-district/antietam-middle-senior-high-school/88870"}
