Purchased snacks were also used to supplement the classroom supply for any preschooler who may need one for various reasons. The support ensured an inclusive meal time with multiple food options for the child.\r\n\r\nThe children were so excited to select their favorite color mitten set to wear home during the cold month of February. There were enough supplied for all classroom students to pick and take home a pair! It was a cozy addition to a lesson about winter clothing items. \r\n\r\nLastly, the lightly weighted blankets, feelings puppets, and huggable weighted balls provide calming options to support participation and fulfill sensory needs. These items are used daily. \r\n\r\nThe support of this project through The Tepper Foundation has enhanced a secure early learning environment by providing preschoolers with the above listed contributions.
